01 The gap
Most traders already know what they are doing wrong. The hard part is understanding why they keep repeating it, and who they need to become to stop.
KATA is a psychology-focused trading journal. Not another trade log. Not another backtesting tool.
Most traders already know what they are doing wrong. The hard part is understanding why they keep repeating it, and who they need to become to stop.
KATA is built to close that gap. Two pages a day. One before the session, one after it is over, away from the charts and away from the screen.
The format is the point. Writing by hand is slower than typing, and the slowness is the feature. It forces a depth of thought a text field never will. Closing the book and leaving the desk breaks the emotional loop that turns one loss into five.

No. Trade logs and data tracking are solved by software. KATA covers what software can't: structured psychological reflection, written by hand, away from the screen.
